![]() Daniel Rhodes plays bass for the Paul Eason Band. Daniel started playing bass when he was about eighteen. He studied under the direction of Richard Birk, Instrumental director at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX for three years, and then pursued a degree in jazz studies at Texas State University for an additional three. Before that he played tuba in his high school band where he received many personal achievement awards. But, as you can see, bass was his true calling. Now, only seven years gone by, Daniel is playing with, of course, the Paul Eason Band (GO PAUL!!). Daniel is also currently playing with “Bo Carter and the Daily Values”, “John Charles Band”, “Larissa Ness”, “Alive Again” and whatever jazz and salsa gigs he can sneak in on the side. Daniel has also been playing and singing in churches all his life. He currently runs the Contemporary Service at First Baptist Church of Seguin, TX and then afterwards plays bass at Corinth Baptist Church in Austin, TX. Daniel pretty much has no life outside of music, and if you were to ask him if he could go back and change that he would say “Not for the world.” Email Daniel: daniel@pauleason.com
